Hey MREX, I removed the old epoxy with a razor blade. There are some really good tutorials on youtube to do this. the trick is to be really careful not to knick the blank with the razor. Once I got it off I used a rag and some alcohol and wiped it down real good. I haven't had time to do much more to my project, I still have 3 more eyes to wrap on and then re-epoxy. As soon as I get time I will post some pics of what I finish up with. thx
