It basically is a self triggered reel, you pull the string out to desired length and set the "trigger" in on of the grooves, when a fish bites the hook, the trigger slips out of the groove, causing the "yo-yo" to spin (reel the line up) with it spinning, it sets the hook for you. |

I love it. You can set em out and by the time you set your last one, you prolly are already hooked up with em. Instead of having to sit there and hold the rod and wait patiently you can just set some yo-yo's and go do something else. I aint got much patience to jig for sacalait, i'd rather bass fish. |
