I fished there one time and didnt catch any bass but the one that hit my top water was huge........only saw him on the first jump he made. If i had to guess on weight i would say about 6-7 pounds.

i believe it man.. they have some NICE fish in there.. As long as ppl practice catch and release that place should remain one the best bass spots in my area. Just pray they don't ever stock it with florida strain bass. I think they just mess up lakes man. I heard that back in the day before they stocked chicot with florida strain bass, that if you didn't have at least one fish over 8lbs in a tournament, you could forget about placing. They said like every tournament there would be 10lbers being caught. Now its almost all florida strain fish and they are more finicky that sacalait!! Once you figure them out you can catch a few but don't expect to catch more than 10 or so fish. Best day i've ever had was 17 fish by myself. All on topwater
