i agree.confidence is a must in bait selection,color and presentation.ive been tryin these jerk baits for three years and while they dont produce all of the time,they do produce the biggest fish.they dont blowup on em,they kinda "slurp" em.if that makes sense.ive even thrown a red jerkbait and absolutely massacred the big gals on the flats.but, it only happened three times and on a particular moon phase(i aint talkin)
