I fish a few creeks, not in a kayak though.... light tackle is best.... bring lots of baits... i use a spinning rod light action with 8lb test... (for bass and bream)
Catfish, i use cut bream/shad/ or minners with 30lb power pro and 40 lb fluro leader on bottom (croaker soaker style) on a wal-mart catfish combo from wally-world.. Or... hoop-nets
