Default Tough Day on the Lake

Well Big Lake kicked my arse once again... fished from 8:30-4:30 only caught two reds and we had to throw one back because it was a ZOMBIE.... Seriously I dont know how this fish was alive. It had chunks missing from its body, blood and pus oozing out and worms all over it. I should have taken a picture but I wanted to get it out of the boat as soon as possible. Oh well at least it was a fun day on the water with one of my friends....

I have not heard anything latley,im sure not many people are going with the river at 17 foot. Right now I would think you can still catch some reds deep in marsh island in the lakes and ponds. Might make a run out there in two weeks or so.

yeah, I been having the itch to get out there, and at least run my boat. Thought about trying on the outside. Every once in a while, that green water sneaks up behind the island, according to those satellite pics. Might be a little salt in there somewhere.
