I doubt he will publicly endorse the Calais...simply because I said it's the best reel available. Isn't it just truly amazing how he divorced the Curado and jumped on the Core "bandwagon"?

The core is the lightest reel out there. The calais is the lexus of baitcasters. For my budget and what i fish the curado is my reel of choice. If i worked at nasa,
i could prolly afford the cores lol
