The problem with no wake zones is.........................most do not have any un derstanding of the concept. They believe it simply means to slow down and that is what they do. For some reason they never have the common sense to look back to see if they are actually not throwing a wake. Therefore, they just assume since they are going slow they are not throwing a wake and beat the you know what out of everything, by throwing a massive wake.

IMHO it is much better to let them go by at full speed than it is to tell them to go no wake speed, because their no wake speed does some serious damage to my stuff.

O' Gawd, my wife and i got yaks last spring and during the warmer weather we take them out for afternoon/eve paddle. The boats are all trying to be nice and slow down to what they think is a good speed and begin throwing out massive wakes nearly swamping us.




At first, I thought they were doing this to be nice, now I am having second thoughts!!!!
