Theres not many places to stay there either, everything has bout shut down the Old KOA is private now, Cypress landing is private now, the only thing I know of is the State Park. Oh..... & your brothers house Let us know when he goes on vacation

The Lake Bruin Motel and Grill has about 10 rooms. Not a Hilton, but ok for a night.

Toledo is a little over 2 hours from Carlyss. Don't mind traveling. Issue to me is lodging. North Toledo Bend has a group camp that can sleep a couple of hunded and has a kitchenn as part of it.
