Default Best time to hit da lake

Thinking of renting a camp for vacation with my father-in -law and a few freinds and was wondering what ya'll thought was the best time to fish the lake. May,June,July or wait later like in Oct.,Nov. or Dec.?

may-june good numbers showing up with size, oct-nov meat slaughterfest, august has some big fish on the reefs

oct may have flounder run also

Flounder are in run off ditches between the marsh and lake in the summer.
When the hard cold fronts hit, get out of the marsh. They will be moving
down the river to the gulf.

You wanna catch big fish and a lot of them??? Go to buris in may, right before or right after the full moon........... every fish will be a drag pulling trout!!! Have fun!!!
