Creole Fin & Feather, LLC, established in 2005, facilitates private limited access by its clients to 2,000 acres (1,120 cropland and 980 marshlands) of a farm and ranch that is known locally as one of the finest hunting and wildlife areas in Southwest Louisiana.
Located just off the Creole Nature Trail and about 12 miles west of Hackberry, LA, Creole Fin & Feather LLC is located near the middle of the United States' only Chenier Plains ecosystem. Here, we experience the uniqueness of two converging habitats. An abundance of prairie and aquatic wildlife and bird-life fill the skies and fields as well as the lakes, canals and marshes that abound in this area.
We offer Waterfowl Hunting from Nov.-Feb., for the person wanting to experience the winter migration of hundreds of thousands of ducks and geese that visit Louisiana annually.
Bass Fishing can be enjoyed year-round in our 2-35 acre lakes stocked with Tier Bass. Alligator Hunting is a unique adventure offered only during the month of Sept. for a very limited group of enthusiasts.
If you're not into hunting and just want to get out and enjoy the wild ruggedness of nature, we accommodate Nature Adventures according to the ability of the individual or group. This can include vehicle/ATV access, and 2-3 miles of levees traversing the prairie to marsh system, available for the experienced hiker.
