I have one in my truck. I use it for a lot of things like checking for hot spots in
breaker panels or recepticals or for hot spots on the engines on my Chris Craft.
Also, you can check to see if your a/c is putting out good in your home. Just
shoot the return and outlets to see the temp. difference.
I got mine years ago at an a/c distributor for around $100, but you can get them
now at Harbor Freight for ~ $25.
