Even though I know this is bout to set off a fireworks display like no other but gotta give the truth on this. so here goes.

yea he is a good fisherman, at least he's better than me. but like it or not, you know Dumas is the man on lake P and dudley also but the reports and shows on greg that I have seen(personally) and read don't hold a match to Dumas. Not too familiar with dudley because I've never fished with or around him but I would guess he is just as good as Dumas or better just going on his reputation.

I know you don't want to admit (and may never will) but Dumas can outfish greg any day. We went out on a bad day on the lake with dumas and caught 4 times the amount of trout as greg and much nicer fish.

TO correct you on that LAKE P.............. Dudley is the Man....HE taught Dumas everything he knows.......and forgot more about trout fishing the Eric will ever know....... also I would rank "Chink" 2nd but he only uses live bait but catches big fish......Then I would place Dumas 3rd with Greg 4th.....

I would totally agree with that. Dumas told me chink was the best fisherman out there and I didnt elaborate on dudley just simply because I have no first hand knowledge other than he makes lures and guides. Im sure he is great, wasnt trying to discredit him at all, just don't personally know nor have I seen pics. But I would totally agree with you in your line up you got there.

U guys can argue over what guide is the best or catches the most fish or etc. But the " reel truth" us that some of the best fisherman on lake p are totally silent. They don't post, brag, celebrate or talk to the masses. They catch big fish , period. Because they love fishing. I've met a few ole timers and it's amazing talking to them and seeing pics they pull out. Chink is a smart fisherman, he knows that lake and how to fish it. I've fished at Seabrook next to him and it's impressive.
The guides on lake p are good. But it's their job to b good. So they better catch fish!!!
It's the guys u don't hear about that are really the kings of lake P!!

nothing wrong with posting pics, we all do it and love it!!
But some just like to keep to then selves. I got a good friend who caught some huge bass this weekend. He will never post em anywhere.
To each their own.
My point is that there are more big trout anglers on lake p than we hear about.

dumas -------best guide on the lake for numbers

silent ones in the 12-14 ft aluminum hulls with 25 tillers trolling the bridges totally insane but they slay the big girls Ive seen them catching and another 100 boats not catching fishing the same damn bridges.

for me i can fish the bridges and Seabrook thats it if it ain't the spring or fall I'm lost in lake p id like to learn it better but that lake takes sooooooooo much patience
