The USCG has about 15 boats in Lake Charles.
They keep 4 of them in the water at all times. 1 of those boats is for vessel compliance inspections. Get ready. They are going to check some boats this summer.

Those cats slipped up on me fishing one night, had a light breeze, radio on real low I didn't hear em till he was right behind me. Scared the crap outta me!

Ray they been checking boats. I watch them from the dock and seen them run up on fisherman trying catch a fish and bam the goes the fishing spot.

They are mainly looking to check the poop tanks on bigger boats in the Lake Charles/Prien areas. But they will be having a couple of check points in high
traffic areas and will be checking everything.
