Had a friend who went last weekend....They have a camp in Pecan Island. They caught 0 reds and 1 crab. They said there were some people catching bull reds at the mouth of the gulf through the Joseph's Harbor entrance.

I will be going this weekend. I will let you know how we do.

Due to being busy with work, I have not had a chance to visit the mecca of a fishing area. Hope to hit it soon, especially the famous "BERTRAND CANAL". Matter of fact, I want to talk with W about having the 2011 SC TOURNEY their..........

I am heading to Joseph's Harbor in the morning I will post tomorrow on what the water looks and if I caught anything. I have heard from a few people they have been catching reds.

I did hear a few people found the trout and the only thing they would bite on was live shrimp so don't forget the cast net at home.

LOL........Man I mentioned "LIVE SWRIMPS" for fishing that area a while back and I got bashed big time by someone on here. Glad to know I am not the only one!

cocahoes .try em and youll thank me.if and only if ya know where ta fish and also the trout are makin their way to the shore so dont expect numbers.reds are evrywhere good luck
