![]() ![]() Dularge trout fishing has not been up to our usual standards.....not by a longshot. The fish have not shown up in any concentrations yet. However, you get lucky once in a while and we found 61 nice beauties today. Pat Clark had a great run on the fish during his 5 day stay on the DU! He brought some nice trout & redfish fillets back to Seattle. The trout were all sizes from 12 in up to 18in. All were caught on swim baits reeling very fast. It was like you could not give them much time to look at the lure as they hit it on impulse rather than in a feeding frenzy. Could not get a bite with a slow retrieve. Water temps and salinity is increasing every day and we're hoping our trout fishing explodes soon! Good luck fishing. Capt BILL LAKE 985-851-6015 985-637-3712 |
