Cry Bad day

Look at what I found while shining up my ride to go fishing tomorrow...

Looks like the trout in Lake P will be safe for at least a few weeks.

It must have happened last trip. I never hit or ran into anything with it. It shocked the hell out of me when I saw it.

I don't drink while I'm on the water...at all. And, I'm pretty meticulous about taking care of my boat. None of this was there last time I cleaned and waxed it.

I called a buddy of mine who owns another Blazer, and he had a problem like this around his transom where the gel coat separated from the fiberglass. He told me that Blazer had to fix a few boats with problems like this. Needless to say, it's going to the dealer on Monday.

I had a Siimilar problem on a fishmaster several years ago. Sent it back to the factory and they sent me a new Redesigned boat. The only reason I got under mine to look for the crack was because a gentleman at the landing came over and asked if I had problems with mine cracking. I told him no but he got down to show me where he had problems with his and mine was doing the same thing. He told me the repair on his took 10 months to complete. After noticing my cracks I wanted to see how his repair looked so we walked back over to his boat and his boat was cracking again. He was PISSED!

I know of a 50 ft. Bertram Sportsfisher that did that, under warranty.
You don't normally see this in smaller boats.

Man that sucks. This is what scares me about owning a fiberglass boat. You never have to worry about things like this with an aluminum boat.

True but it's alot easier to reweld than it is to patch up some fiberglass and make it match. It's even nicer when you know a guy that builds boats for a living and he just so happens to be your best friends dad!!

Did y'all see the pics of that trophy that the Side blew out of? Dude hit a wave at a funny angle and the side completely blew out! He had to beach it so it wouldn't sink.......

That is delamination from a bad lay up when it was manufactured.
That should be a new boat, not a repair job. Small spots are not bad, big spots are
bad.
