No joke. I bought a new one and it was in the shop out of the box. I've also got a bow mount for a riptide if anyone needs it.

I talked to both minn and guide dealers and repairs. They both said that it really all depends which # thrust you want when selecting a troll motor brand. With that being said, it could be as simple as a loose wire. I would bring it to someone to work on it. If you start buying parts without knowing what is wrong it may cost your more in the long run.

Fool, I'll look at it next time I go to the camp if you hadn't got it going yet. Maybe just a bad connection.
