Long as it don't have all those things they have in the Chinese imported Shrimp , Catfish ,and Crawfish. Man that stuff is terrible. But i've always had very good Japanese Food. Also some Chinese food is real good if it doesn't have the imports in it. I'd eat it!

If i have to buy fish ,IT WON'T BE an import from a foreign country.
Plenty catfish and talapia farmers right here in the U.S. need my $$$. BTW. No matter what the lable says on foreign seafood ,You don't know where its coming from as they ship stuff to other countries for packaging to get around inspection laws and tarrifs. |

That stuff is shipped in and they can still sell it cheaper than our stuff and the stupid people don't know the difference in the taste,I know it and i'm sure y'all do too. The local stores sell it because they make more money on each sale of it.

I can already see a rise in the stock market and economy from your mentioning of the advantages of purchasing US fish vs imported fish. When you buy imported fish from your LOCAL supermarket, they recieve half the profit btw. And plus its what you get, US talapia and catfish dont hold a candle to the taste and price of Basa. |

When you bought that Basa , was it tenderloined or whole fish?

I buy from someone who cuts the meat and kills and filets the fish. I will spend twice as much to buy a product of the USA before i spend a dime for something from overseas. I am one to look at lables and buy products from the usa. And i call BS on basa tasteing better than talapia or a good pond raised cat fish. Besides i know where my fish comes from and know that they are not pumping sewage into the ponds to fed the fish that you are eating. |

since BASA is not nor ever has been raised or farmed in the USA don't think i'd buy anything that was unfrozen. But you keep doing what your doing.
