The buyer's ordered the inspection. Why does the mortgage co need to see it? Is that required by the mortgage cos now?

Buyers are the mortgage company until the person buying the house pays them off. This is probably a HUD loan with very little down through another gov't program. If you do not put enough down there are plenty of hoops you have to jump through.

Same thing that started the "Mortgage Crisis", zero document loans, ect.
