I have one and love it. but I don't think I'd buy another one. It's just too much money when the lower end reels are so advanced that you aren't getting a whole lot more with the dc. I have the calcutta 250TE DC. Like I said, I like it but you can get a great reel for several hundred cheaper. with like a curado or any calcutta. shimano makes great reels and the several hundred more for the DC just isn't worth it.
answer to your question- yes its a great reel should you buy one- I wouldn't. just get 2 good reels for the price of that one
