To all you poison Ivy sufferers after you have come into contact with it and finished whatever you were doing go straight to the shower and take a cold shower. I haven't had it bad in 16 years since doing this. Before I used this method I got it so bad I had 2 black eyes and I had it everywhere on my body which caused me to have to go to the doc.

go find a poison ivy vine and eat 2 or 3 of the berries, you will never catch it again.

There is some stuf Tecnu that is supposed to remove the oil if used after exposure. I have used it and it does work.

Tecnu has a soap to wash with and a lotion to put on after.
The lotion is clear, so it don't look as bad as calamine.
My wife uses it every time she cuts grass. She gets full of
Poision Ivy and I can never find any around the house.
It is pretty good stuff, but it don't get rid of it right away.

Total Bull Sheet! In fact, the more you are exposed to poison ivy, the worse the outbreaks get.
