FlagUS Trolling motor dilema

Busted my 24v Great white yesterday. Current pushed me into a piling and crushed the top plastic part like an egg shell. Really never had any trouble with it, but was wondering whether I should replace with a GW or A min kota???

Plastic shell and innards can be replaced. Gulf Cost Trolling Motors 281-481-6838. Just the housing top and bottom is $35.00 or so. Good luck.

x 2

If it were me, I'd fix that one. It's just a cosmetic problem.

Like Pox said...don't listen to ASR with that Minny crap....he's a MK repairman.

Control boards....average cost ~ $ 80 to 110 when ordered on line, if it needs to be replaced.

Both MK and MG are good. All of them have problem motors.

i can vouch on a riptide shaft, they can only handle 15 log wrecks then number 16 is when it breaks

Thank you for all the positive input. Of course common sense dictates that I go for the repair option. Thanks again, Tinman.
