Default Dulac Offshore Fishing

Cocodrie is not closed, it's basically rented out to BP and their contractors. All of the marinas are rented out, a ton of camps are rented out, and most of the guides have gone to work for BP. Our fishing grounds are open and we have chosen to continue fishing.
Thanks for all of the positive comments. Give me a call if any of you want to book a fishing trip. Capt. Clark Trosclair 985-563-2531 www.seacreaturecharters.com

Default Bait

Capt Clark,

Where are you getting your frozen bait? We had a hell of a time this past weekend getting frozen pogies or spanish sardines. None of the marinas I called said they had any.

I appreciate your help!

The gov't needs to do a better job of letting us know what is open or closed. It appears the offshore waters out of Dulac are closed. But the OP may have run SW to the EI Rigs. http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/pdfs/ne...al-closure.jpg

How much are expenses though, Idea popped in my head for me/my dad and some of his buddies to take a trip, but want a round-about estimate

Our offshore trips have been ranging from $1600 to $1850 and that includes all expenses and fish cleaning. It really depends on how much running from rig to rig we do. I can accommodate 6 persons.
Yes, we have been running west of the closure.
I get my frozen bait from a local crab dock.
