I tight lined it and, jug lined the heck outa several of the canals and couldn't really do much there. I'm tellin ya, from my experience, it's the Dead Sea. Keep in mind, I'm not a native and may not know "the hot spots." I just never did much there. It's still one of my FAVORITE places to take a mid-week stroll in my skiff! Man, when no one else is out there, it's beautiful to see and ride!

pox has got the idea.....fish AWAY from the Blind River and the Diversion.
Head back from the locks going into Sorrento and Saint Amant.

Those little canals are more fishy then they appear.
I just have a boat that will not make it under all the small bridges.

yea every time we fished bass tournaments there the fished seem to be holding around the Prop Stop docks around lunch time......strange pattern indeed.

Actually there used to be some pretty good fishing in and around there.
I absolutely love the place, I wished it was better these days.

We have a great place there...........

the fish and the ducks left when the salvania moved in.

the Prop Stop is closed, some make your way across the Lake and hang wit the Ascension/Livingston hoodlums is what I'm screamin' LOL

It's made the scenery around the place even better......

I remember a day where them Baton Rouge folks thought we were all country hicks and would come our way....LOL

Now they bought all the land on the Diversion and built million dollar homes......go figure.
