Default Grand Isle report 7/23 and 7/24/10

Fished Grand Isle Fri. and Sat.
Fri. we only caught 2 keepers. 1 dink Trout and one decent Flounder. We probably caught 50 undersized trout this day.
Sat. we caught 7 dink Trout in the morning and 19 in the afternoon. All on DOA shrimp or Sparkle Beetles under a clacking cork.
Didn't take pictures on Fri.
Took a few from our afternoon trip Sat. But my camera phone ain't the best picture taking device.
One is the box shot, one is the table shot and the other one is my brother in law fishing with his Billy Stix spinning rod.
There are so many dink trout around Grand Isle that W would have a sustained boner for the rest of his life if he fished there.

We also caught a buttload of trophy sized Sail Cats, on artificial.
They started killing us yesterday, so we had to shut it down.
When they hit, they hit everywhere around that island, all at once.

Default Sail Cats

Those sail cats cleaned out that spot you went to Sat evening. Couldn't buy a trout there this morning.
