Default Bikini r Less upset 8-7-10

Entered the tournament out of cypremort point today. My buddy and I fished big lake and made the long haul to the scales for 4 pm this afternoon.

Had a tough morning with lots of boat traffic and sunny skies. We caught most all of our fish on topwaters. Ended up placing 2nd overall with a string of 24.9 lbs, falling just shy of the top string that was 25.4 lbs. My boat did win the big fish category with a 6 lber.

This was a heartbreaker because I decided to swing a decent fish into the boat early, no idea that 8 ounces would make or break it. I was trying to avoid picking trebles out of my net and get back out to the schooling fish quickly. Big mistake because the line broke & cost me a pound easy.

I wish I would have had the string that specktator and I caught yesterday, which would have went over 40 pounds. It sounds like the trout are starting to move onto the reefs outside in Vbay, but the fishing was still tough out there for the guys.

Didn't see too many bikini's, just a few of the guys' girlfriends so I came on back to laffy.
