A buddy of mine shared a trick and it works great and it won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Go purchase an inexpensive danforth anchor and attach 6 foot of rubber coated chain to it. At the end of the chain that you attach to the rope, use a carabiner and attach a 3 lb mushroom anchor. It works amazing. It changes the angle of the danforth and will grab in any type of substrate.
