I was told that they have to have 7 days with no oil to open the inland waters and beaches. Not sure why they are holding out on the offshore waters.
I saw the Empire pogy plant smoking yesterday. Guess they finally are catching some pogy over there in State waters. |

I was wondering the same thing a month ago. Seems like a little overkill. We went to the Johnson Bayou rigs a few weeks back and there was a line of pogy boats headed west to get into the open areas.
