Default Surf 8/26 afternoon

Not so good of a trip......got out there and the wave were crashing like crazy and the water was pretty stained up. I did manage 1 trout about 17" but let it go, caught him between the rocks. I climbed up on the rocks a little later and not a bite and no bait that i could see on that side of the rocks. Only fished about an hour.

On my way back in i stepped on what i hope was a flounder.......scared me half to death....when i picked my foot up off of it, it hit me in the back of the shoe and scared me half to death again so technically i should be dead!!!!

The water was at the point to where it would not take much for it to clear back up again......if i would not be working i would have gone back this morning.

There was lots of bait between the shore and the rocks but it was just not a good time to go.....you live and you learn i guess.

Gerald caught his limit of Reds standing on the beach. They were in the tide pools along the water line.
