Big Lake 8/29/10

Got on the water at 5:30am this morning just in time to get soaking wet by a rain shower before the sun even came up. When we got to the first spot the water was super clear,tide was coming in, and the fish were on. Caught 13 specks and 5 reds by 10 am. The 3 biggest specks were one 4 one 4.5 and the biggest 5lbs caught by my buddy Juice. The bite stopped and we decided to call it a day. We mainly fished the channel and the lake on the north end.

Nice catch there Chris and Juice, we were gonna go meet yall but we did not fill up the boat, taught we had more gas then we did so we stayed around prien playing with the reds, we caught 16 reds a couple trout and a few flounder

no, just moved down the channel a lil ways and caught a few more fish, we were catching keeper reds when i talked to you just throwing them back,was trying to get on some specks but that did'nt happen.

Thanks for all the comments guys. We really had a blast and that 5 was by buddys biggest trout. I love those trips! He was pumped up.

That sounds good. With me working this late that means a 4 day weekend got to watch the kids Friday morning and got the little ones soccer practice Sat morning and the big LSU game that night so Sat is a no go for me but Sun and Mon you know will I will be.
