About $1500 to $2000 with the tank and pump. Could be a little more if you go with the submergable pump.

Aw man, thanks for that. I've been stressing over this crap since Friday. Here's what happened, the end of last year my wife and I bought a lot in a subdivision. Well we started doing our dirt work last week so I called the water company to come install the meter so we can have a line ready for when the builders come to do the cement work. The water company tells me that they don't have a line ran through the subdivision. So I call the guy that I bought the lot from and he tells me "O yea we didn't run water through the subdivision, just phone and power" . So I call the water company back to see what needs to be done so I can get water to my lot and they tell me that they would obviously have to run a line through the subdivision to get to me (no shyt Sherlock!) and that either the subdivision owners or myself would have to pay for the line to be ran since I'm the only one in the subdivision right now. So I'm weighing my options on drilling my own damn well compared to the price of paying the water company to run a line to my house. I gotta call the water company tomorrow to get their prices and call the guy I bought the lot from to see if he talked to the other owners to see if they would like to run water throughout the subdivision or not. If I woulda known they didn't have water ran through the subdivision I wouldn't have bought the damn lot to begin with

The water bill would be paid to "*"....since it's his "lake".

No man, I didn't call. I spoke with the guy in charge of the local water company and he said that since my property borders the highway that he can bore a line under the highway and direct feed water to my lot only instead of going through the subdivision. All I have to pay is $550 for a meter box and they will do the rest!

That's awesome longside, definitely better than a water well. Glad it worked out!
