Default Wore them out

Went out this morning with Kelly from Marsh Works in the canoe and absolutely wore the big girls out! We stopped counting at 32! Not one fish was smaller than 18" and most were in the 25-30" range. All were caught on Marsh Works gold spoon, spinner w/ white killa squilla, and spinner w/ purple thang. We left them biting to head home to hit the bbq. All were released to fight another day. We also recorded some good video with one about 28" making a blow up on the spoon in a shallow pocket. Numerous times we would have double hookups. Cant wait to get out again!!

hahahaha nope. It was a pretty new area to me. The best part was when we got back and after a man told us that some boats returned with no fish we told him we stopped counting at 32 he nearly sharted himself! He said, oh yall go shallow where boats cant go. Yep!

you need a fly rod on these trips. Let me know when you want to make a trip in the boat you show me the spots and I will take you there. Or we can hit a few of my hot spots. The only rules are no conventional gear on my boat.

Thats cool. I just got my tfo axiom back and dying to get some reds on the fly again. Where we went its not boat accessible at all. Way to shallow and too tight in some situations. I know of another spot I wore them out on the fly rod last year about this time so I might scout it out this weekend and will let ya know
