Default Truck issues...

Today just keeps gettin better..... Last Monday I was rearended by some JACK A and then I hit another car. Well today I pull up to Hammond high for football practice and I smell gas when I get out. I had smelled it at my parents house earlier but didn't think Much if it....
Well I look under my truck and gas is pouring out if the under carriage of my truck....*
My guess is that when I was rearended a line , cable, valve or the actual tank was damaged and finally broke loose......*
Waiting in row truck now then bk to practice......

He could likely get on in first thing in the morning. If it's accident related, their insurance company will pay the tow bill and all so, don't lose that reciept!

If I'd been able to have em tow it to u I would have. I had it brought to the place in Hammond that did my repairs last time.
And yea, I kept my reciept for the towing.

Yea...... Well I'm bout to jump into a gmc. Either a 1500 or 2500. started lookin last nite.
If i get the 1500 what gear ratio do I need for best towing, or if I put bigger tires on it.

I looked into changing my chunk for better towing......the numbers didn't work out for me......I wanted to do that instead of getthing a diesel......it all comes down to a little saying......there's no replacement for displacement ......go with the 2500......

3.73 in either. 4.10 is too much for the 2500, fuel mileage would be crap

3.73 with a 6 liter on a 2500 chassis. Remember, it's better to have it(towing capabilities) and not need than to need it and not have it!

Appreciate the help guys... I'm probably gonna go with the 1500 and get the correct gears this time.
I like the 2500 but for what I'm doing Now and not having my boat anymore the 1500 is more practical.
