Default Henderson 11/18

Finally made it back to Henderson and put the yak in at the Butte La Rose landing this morning. Cold and windy with the water stained near the interstate. Not expecting to catch much I fished both north and south of I-10 with plastics. Caught 4 bass and a couple choupic. Only one other boat fishing that I saw.

how big were the choupique? I love catching them suckers. I know a place that i can go and catch 60+ during february when they spawn. All about 6-8lbs with an occasional 10-12lber. Really fun on like tackle. Found that they really like chatterbaits

Choupic were big 4-5 lbs caught on plastics that I was bass fishing with. Last month garfish were all over the place and hitting on anything I would throw, none this time.

Default yak

I have a Hobie Mirage Revolution. It's a Sit on Top 13ft fishing model with the pedal powered system.
