Default thanksgiving eve specks

Another nice pleasant morning slingin some troutseses with my 12 year old son. Trout was almlost as thick as the fog this morning. Caught on to a lil frenzy for a lil while and had a blast. Must have caught around 20 or so on topwater, till my wrist got tired of twitching the bait. Switched over to plastics and finished up with 48. Nice to finally meet up with fellow satly cajuner "pefferkorn" out there on the bay this morning too,as he was slingin his share too.

Excellent catch! What was the heaviest weight. Did you catch at night on top water?

I beginning to think that there's more fishing going on this time of the year. There's diffently more success. Good Catch .Oh remember save a few for seed.

Good to see the action lasting a while this year. If this front doesn't do too much damage I'm going to be back out Sat or Sun. Friday looks like a wash out.
What topwater baits were working on the V-Bay trout?

shell man we pretty much fished around the cove area

by-catch I was catching on a storm minnow, my lil boy was fishing a she dog. I really dont think it would have mattered too much during that frenzy though. THey were some greedy lil pigs. THey were spittin so much bait out all over the deck of my boat. My lil boy caught one and he showed me, it had 4 shad tails sticking out its mouth, and was still trying to swallow his chub.
