Nice deer. I wonder how he lost that G3 on his right side. Looks like he has it in that trail cam picture.

I dont deer hunt very often, I'm still trying to kill my first this season. Was wondering what G3 means?

The brow tine is considered the G1. Then closest point to brow tine is G2, then next G3, and so on.

Its a buncha useless jargon that people use to talk about whenever they are at the sporting goods store, even hear 9 year olds talk about G3s and how old a deer is by looking at a picture
