Default Camping spot

Looking to lease a spot for my RV in Leeville, Fourchon or Grand Isle Area. Something high on the water or with a place near the water with a place to moor my boat. I am willing to lease by the year or the month. I will not keep my RV there year round, however I might build a deck and put in a storage building if allowed. Anyone have or know of anything? I've seen the spots in Leeville near Boudreux's but don't know who to contact. If anyone knows a contact PLEASE let me know. Thanks

There is a hotel/RV park next to the Gulf Stream marina on Grand Isle.
Gulf Stream has ice, live bait, some artificial and launch. The hotel/RV park
is next door with docks and cleaning station. Launch at one and keep the
boat in the water next to the RV. Nothing real nice, but for fishing, it gets
the job done.
I just can't remember the name of the place next door to Gulf Stream.

bayou jims is on the elmers island canal right next to the bridge. No launch but dock space. he lives on site so there's usually someone around. call jim @ (985) 787-2370
he has shower, bathroom, washer and dryer and ice machine on site also some good fishing from the pier and under the lights.
don't know what his rates are . I do know most of the places in leeville have a waiting list to get in.

Thanks Ray and eman. I contacted Jim earlier in the year and he is supposed to give me a call if he gets a space I guess I will check back in with him. I don't know the place you are talking about Ray. I will go by and check there too when I get home. I was talking to Bobby Lynn and he is booked up too. If he gets a spot he will let me know. I really am not too keen on a spot there because of the traffic. There are a lot of people through there. I used to put in there but since I have started fishing the West side I usually put it at Boudreaux's. I am sure something will come up I just have to keep my eyes open. I have also considered buying something but I have only been able to find lots on the Island and they have rules about parking Campers/RV's. I would buy a camp but HATE the idea of loosing everything to a hurricane.

Anybody else know of a place please let me know. I would even be interested in buying a lot I could park on.

Big piece of property for sale in leville between boudreauxs and the bridge most of it would need to be reclaimed.
Asking 120k.

Ricky's Motel is the name of the place I was talking about.
There is another place in front of the Light House Rest.

DO NOT stay at rickys in a campeer
If it rains hard the camper area can flood and the sewer backs up.

I have never seen that, but I have not been in Grand Isle when it rains that much.

Thanks eman. That is the sort of info I need. Earlier in the year some of the high tides I saw covered most of the campgrounds. Many of the camps had water under them. I would HATE to have salt water in my RV or even to the point it is under it. I know the property you are talking about that is for sale in Leeville. I didn't know the price. I looked at it but when the tide is low it is nothing but mud with no way to access. Would cost a fortune to dredge out and even make it useful. I think my best be is to just find a good high spot to rent. I am sure something will come up. Maybe I need to start looking over at Dularge/Cocodrie.
