![]() A cold and windy morning 'Down In Dularge'! Air temp 37 degrees with 47 degree water temps are all you need for a great redfish slam! P.J. Hale is a cold weather fishing machine and my deckhand Craig Fusson could hardly keep up. We caught roughly 35-40 redfish and quickly iced up our 15 fish limit. Only found a few trout at another location but we really didn't spend much time on them as the water temp was too cold. All our fish were caught on plastic as usual. Maybe tomorrow will be the day for the trout as it will be slightly warmer. Evidently many people were still on their New Years holiday as there were plenty boats on the water for a Monday. Be careful with the extreme low water conditions ! Good luck fishing! Capt Bill Lake 985-851-6015 985-637-3712 |
