Default 12/28 big lake

baybolt23 and i fished yesterday afternoon drifting in turners catching a few trout but the reds were everywhere. Dont know whats up it just seems like the redfish have taken the lake over. At 2 o'clock went wade fishing catching a few nice trout along with 20 to 30 more reds. At one spot we got the boat and it was every cast redfish 25 inches. We left there after 10 cast. Anyone catching alot of reds??????

I never thought I would ever say I don't want to catch another redfish for a while after yesterday. Right when you think you hooked a good trout it's another freaking red tearing up your $6 bait.

I hear you, my wading buddy and myself have been over run with the bastards too, it's taking the fun out of wading for us when every ten fish is a red, and not them lil 16" reds, it's them 28" tearing your gear up reds, i've actually tried throwing things they wouldn't want to eat and nothing works! And they are north, south, east and west, they have taken over....
