I had the same issue, at 2 am on the interstate outside of LaPlace.
When we stopped, we saw nothing. Took off again and the steering was vibrating so bad at 25 mph, I could hardly hold the wheel. Stopped again and saw a big ol blister on the tire. We must have stopped where it was under the tire the first time.
Changed out and on the way home from Venice 2 weeks later, the other front tire did the same thing. This time it was in the daytime.
