The have a nickname of "dirt pirahnnas" becasue they just want to catch/kill anything they can. Coons, dillos, pigs, doesn't matter to them! They will catch and kill a shoat, leave and go get another one. They will "try" to catch bigger pigs, but once they get bruised up enough, they will bay it. Once the catch dog grabs hold, they catch also. If they weighed as much as a pitbull, the breed would no doubt be outlawed in the US w/o question! They are simply little maniacs and if you have more than one, it ends up being called "suicide aggression" where they end up getting killed trying to out do the other one. It is not a breed for the faint of heart, but they will die protecting you.
