Default Big lake Saturday

Had a great day out there with the family yesterday. I was a little upset to see so many cars @ the launch but didn't run into too many of the folks while fishing. My wife, dad and 3 year old had a great time. We caught twelve reds and then it was time to go, no marathon fishing with the family. I'll post a picture when I get to my pc.

I can't stand fishing in crowds. The first and only time I've ever tried to fish the weirs was winter two years ago. when I saw what it was all about I left and never went back. I HATE that kind of fishing!

one day last winter or maybe winter before last........ we were fishing and it sucked azz...... West wind was killing us.... I said lets go in the marsh...it was about 2pm... pulled up to Grand and not one boat there..... I looked at David H and said: is the lake closed or something, Just for the hell of it I cast and smack..Red fish.... set anchor and caught until dark...... they had boats piled up in there for days....must of sucked that morning
