If the motor is straight down and has been out of the water for a while, shouldn't be any issues. Most of the water should have drained out or evaporated.
If you have it cocked up, better let it down.
My old Mercury made it thru a bad arsed freeze in the 90's with no issues.
If you are spooked, remove the thermostat covers and pour in some antifreeze. It will drain down and mix with any water in the motor.
