no one knows.... some say its a lease, others say it belongs to an oil company...... i just want to clear out some underbrush, but dont wanna get into any legal trouble....

The cops are the experts on the current criminal trends. If they have determined that a “high capacity” semiautomatic pistol and a .223 semiautomatic rifle with 30-round magazines are the best firearms for them to use to protect people like me and my family, they are obviously the best things for us to use to protect ourselves and our families . |

The clerk of court in each parish has a plat map of all lands in the parrish and it list the current owner(s).
You need the address or closest cross street or some way to figure out exactly where it is on the map |

Yes, Clerk of Court has all the records, but like someone said a land manager has that info. If you know any foresters or land managers in the parish they usually have a book with all that information.
