Default tire website?

Does anyone know of any good websites to get a good deal on tires? I don't need anything great cause I plan on selling the truck towards the end of this year just something that'll make it til then. Thanks in advance for any help.

One is tirerack.com. I've looked at another one, but I can't remember what it is. If I do I'll post it.

your best bet would be to go to walmart and get a set of Douglas tires. by the time you find some online and have them shipped, they wont be cheap anymore.
what size you looking for?

get used tires off craigslist. Ive found my last two sets with barely any miles on them for half of new cost. Also check louisianasportsman.com classifieds. for new tires www.discounttiredirect.com has good prices and usually free shipping

I'm looking for 245x70x17 for my silverado. I found some Hancocks at Sears for 135 a tire so after all 4 with an alignment was quoted 765. Has anyone had any experience with Hancock tire(good or bad)?

Go to Baileys on Grand Caillou RD. You will get a better deal there......I got some Mastercraft Courser HTR for my Sierra for less than that. About $680 I believe with free rotation and and road hazard.

BTW tire prices have went up significantly over the last few years, something about the fed. Gov. putting tariffs on foreign tires which in turn let the American tire companies go up on there prices.

Can't remember if i had to get an alignment or not. I'll look at my paper work when iIgo back outside and let you know. I have always done my tire business with them and have a lot of success with those Mastercraft tires. The best thing about them is that the owner is there all the time to make sure things are going right which makes a big difference in service.

Checked with Bailey's this morning and for 4 neptune 45000 mile tires installed with road hazard and an alignment is $700. It will be there next week to get them put on.
