A world record bass today would reportedly be worth in excess of 1 million $$$. The trout would get you on a few magazine covers but that's about it. I don't know what the number is now for bass but I'm pretty sure the record trout is approaching 17.5 lbs.

I'd like to know what that guy who is the record holder for bass made signing autographs at the classic.

You're probably right, Ducky. Plus, he probably hasn't bought anything fishing-related since the catch.......including boats. Bass has forever and will forever be considered the most popular gamefish.
