I dropped $225 in 2004 to have mine moly coated. Anything under 2 bills is a real deal!

That is sweeeeeeeet. I like the camo pattern! There was a lady here that would hand paint them for $100 & it was awesome, she don't do it anymore

I have a 70 year-old Browning Auto 12 that I'd like to have something done like that, but, everybody tells me not to mess with it. Says it'll decrease the value.

Salty - a 70 year old Browning should not be dipped in camo. However, I would consider a professional restoration, and I am not talking about just any gunsmith! I am no professional, and I did not sleep in a Holiday Inn Express, but that is a collectors piece for sure!

A5's are still only worth so much,its not like an old Parker or L.C.Smith side by side.At most I would say it "could" be worth $2000 and that depends on model and shape.If it was a magnum or light 20 or a sweet 16 with a ribbed barrel and Belgium made then it could be worth that.You can find A5's all day in great shape for $800 to $1000.If it was made in Japan its not worth as much but its probably Belguim made being that old.
My point is if you enjoy hunting with it then have it dipped!! Theres nothing like hunting with something thats been in the family!

DON'T TOUCH IT! Especially if its a Belgian model.
Have the Auto 5 Belgian and just took it apart because it was jamming on me every shell and cleaned it. Had a couple people want to offer 600+ for my dad's. If anything I'll get a black synthetic stock and keep the old one as a deal breaker.

As for your gun FFF, looks very good. Want to get my 20 gauge dipped some day, maybe even my pistol .
