The haynie is a relatively new edition, heard a lawyer had somthing to do with it, he was pimping a 14 ft see otter or something like that before he moved up to a big boy toy.

I have never eaten a black drum or a gaspergou, but have eaten other drum = redfish, SPECKLED TROUT, so they can't be bad. I have never had a problem with having fish to eat, but for people who only go a few times a year, they wanna load up on meat. It wasn't too long ago I remember a sheephead was a 'trash fish', believe it or not many offshore fishermen considered TUNA trash also

Hear mullet is great too, but I ain't had it, had gar once, it was awesome. Catch a goggleye and keep it in north Louisiana you will probably get laughed at also, people target them down here.

'W'hat a boring life it would be if everyday you were able to go fishing you went to one lake to fish and targeted only one species of fish.
I like a little variety
