red fish and trout. I fish alot out of the mermentau river and I like big lake.. is there any launches closer to the gulf in big lake besides turners? Alos other landings in vermillion bay besides the point.

You can dock at the public launch in Delcambre, Don's Boat Landing in Henry (south of Erath), Hebert's Landing in Henry and I think Jean Marie's in Henry is opened again but I'm not sure.

Where at on the Mermentau do you launch? I have been looking at heading out there.

Grand Chenier Park.
Few miles East of the bridge. Then run back down the river to the Gulf.
